World Federation of International Speedsoft Sport (WFISS)

1. Introduction

The World Federation of International Speedsoft Sport (WFISS) is the global governing body for the sport of Speedsoft. Our Statutes & Regulations serve as the cornerstone for governance, standardisation, and integrity in the sport across all member nations. These rules ensure fair play, transparency, and unified development of Speedsoft worldwide.

2. Legal Status & Authority

WFISS is incorporated, independent democratic international body. Its authority is recognised by national federations, league organisers, and affiliated clubs. All member organisations agree to abide by these statutes and any future amendments.

3. Objectives

  • Promote and grow Speedsoft as a legitimate, competitive sport.
  • Establish standardised rules and formats for international competition.
  • Sanction official WFISS events, championships, and leagues.
  • Develop athlete safety, coaching, officiating, and technical standards.
  • Uphold the principles of fairness, sportsmanship, and anti-doping compliance.

4. Membership

4.1 Categories of Membership:

  • Full Members: National federations officially recognised by WFISS.
  • Associate Members: Organisations developing Speedsoft but not yet nationally recognised.
  • Honorary Members: Individuals or organisations recognised for outstanding contributions to the sport.

4.2 Admission Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate:

  • National or regional governance of Speedsoft.
  • Compliance with WFISS statutes.
  • Democratic internal structure.

4.3 Suspension & Expulsion:
WFISS reserves the right to suspend or expel members for:

  • Breach of statutes or misconduct.
  • Non-compliance with disciplinary rulings.
  • Failure to pay dues or falsifying information.

5. Governance Structure

5.1 General Assembly
The supreme body, composed of all full members, meets annually. Responsibilities include:

  • Electing the Executive Board.
  • Approving amendments to statutes.
  • Ratifying major policy decisions.

5.2 Executive Board
Responsible for the operational and strategic direction of WFISS. Comprised of:

  • President
  • Vice President(s)
  • Secretary General
  • Treasurer
  • Regional Representatives

5.3 Committees

  • Disciplinary Committee
  • Technical & Rules Committee
  • Anti-Doping & Ethics Committee
  • Development & Inclusion Committee

6. Rules of the Game

The WFISS Rulebook defines official Speedsoft gameplay including:

  • Match format & scoring
  • Player classifications
  • Equipment standards
  • Safety protocols
  • Refereeing and appeal systems

All sanctioned events must adhere strictly to the current version of the WFISS Rulebook.

7. Disciplinary Regulations

WFISS enforces a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Cheating, including marker tampering or illicit gear
  • Violence or unsportsmanlike behaviour
  • Match-fixing or bribery
  • Doping violations

Sanctions include suspension, fines, disqualification, or permanent bans.

8. Code of Ethics

All WFISS members, officials, players, and affiliated bodies are bound by a universal Code of Ethics. This code prioritizes:

  • Integrity
  • Respect for opponents and officials
  • Transparency in operations
  • Equal opportunity and inclusion

9. Amendments to Statutes

Proposed amendments must:

  • Be submitted in writing 60 days prior to the General Assembly.
  • Be approved by two-thirds (⅔) of voting members present. Once ratified, amendments are binding on all members.

These Statutes enter into force upon approval by the General Assembly. Any prior conflicting provisions are hereby repealed. WFISS maintains the authority to publish official interpretations and enforce compliance globally.
